Synopsis: A thrilling adventure of a teenage girl?s first running of the Iditarod and the challenges she faces along the trail. A good story that includes the Eskimo culture, and a young girl?s respect for her father. I don?t feel all of the story-related specific are in terms of the rules of the race, but it was a good book to read in class orally or with multiple copies to read as a group.
