We offer travelers a fun and comfortable spot to base your Alaskan adventure and vacation.  A wide variety of tours and attractions make Willow a perfect vacation destination and a photographers paradise.

Our 5000 sq ft building contains two 600 sq ft apartments.  Our sleddogs are not housed inside the building.  Each upstairs unit has a spacious bedroom, private bathroom and shower, kitchenette and large living room. Kitchens are stocked with dishes and cookware.   Apartments open up into a large recreation or common area for relaxing.  Our retired sleddogs like to watch TV with you.  This area also has extra beds for children or overflow sleepers.

Hi Vern and Susan,

I wanted to drop a note to thank you for everything during our stay at Dream Inn. This was by far the best adventure I've ever planned on a vacation. I love every single one of your doggies and saw how terrific their personalities are.

Anyways, staying in the apartment was very comfortable. We checked into our next B & B in South Anchorage and they didn't have as many ameneties (or the dogs!) and I wanted to just turn right back around and go to Dream Inn. I hope we can make it back there someday and be taken for a ride by Aurora, Solstice and the 7 dwarfs.

   - The highest point in North America-elevation 20,320'-dominates the region

   - Just a few miles away is Nancy Lake Recreation Area:  one of Alaska's few
     flat, lake studded landscapes preserved in its natural state for recreation. 
     Lakes, streams, and swamps make up just over half of its 22,685 acre area which
     lies between the Susitna River on the west and the Talkeetna Mountains on the
     east.  The setting is great for canoeing, hiking, and fishing.  In winter, the rolling
     topography is ideal for cross country skiing, dog mushing, and snowmachining.

*  HIKING AND EXPLORING ABOVE TREELINE
   - Susan's favorite thing to do.  Her Michigan State botany degree makes her well 
     equipped to describe the high tundra flora and plants.  Explore the old gold mines 
     in an alpine setting, have lunch and soak in the sheer beauty and peacefulness of 
      west Hatcher Pass.  All the tourists will be in east Hatcher Pass.  Susan is available
     for guided expeditions four days per week.  Call for information or times.
